Is your eSIM installed? Perfect.
Once your eSIM is successfully downloaded to your device, and you are ready to start using it, follow these final configuration steps to activate your data and ensure a seamless connection.
- Activate & Label the Line
- Go to Settings > Cellular.
- Scroll to the bottom of the list to find your new eSIM and toggle it ON.
đź’ˇ Pro Tip: Tap the label and rename it to your MM order number for easy identification.
- Assign Mobile Data
- In the Cellular menu, tap Cellular Data.
- Select your new eSIM to ensure it is the active line for internet usage.
- Configure Roaming & APN
- Tap on your eSIM and ensure Data Roaming is toggled ON.
- Voice & Data should be set to 5G auto or 4G/LTE.
- Data Mode should be set to Standard.
- Tap Cellular Data Network and verify that the APN fields match the details provided in your confirmation email.
- Turn Off Wi-Fi
- If needed, toggle airplane mode on and off to trigger network connection
- Activate & Manage SIMs
- Go to Settings > Connections > SIM Manager.
- Find your new eSIM and toggle it ON
- Assign Mobile Data
- In the SIM Manager menu, locate the Preferred SIM section.
- Tap Mobile Data / Primary SIM and select your new eSIM.
- Configure Roaming & APN
- Navigate to Connections > Mobile networks and toggle Data Roaming to ON.
- Tap Access Point Names, select your eSIM, and ensure the APN settings match the information provided in your confirmation email. If it is not set automatically, please find our guide here.
- Turn Off Wi-Fi
- If needed, toggle airplane mode on and off to trigger network connection
