How to Label Your eSIMs

Label Your eSIMs for Easy Management

Your phone can store multiple eSIM profiles at the same time. Without proper labels, things get confusing fast. Taking a few seconds to name your eSIM correctly will make it much easier to manage, switch, and track later.

We strongly recommend labeling your eSIM with the order number or another clear identifier so you can easily recognize it in the app and your phone settings.

iPhone Samsung
  1. Go to Settings > Cellular

  2. Select the eSIM you want to rename

  3. Tap Cellular Plan Label

  4. Choose Custom Label

  5. Enter a name that’s easy to recognize (for example: order number, destination, or data plan)

💡 iPhones automatically label eSIMs as Secondary, Travel, Work, etc. You can change this at any time.

Deleting Used or Expired eSIMs

Once an eSIM is fully used, expired, or no longer needed, it’s best to delete it from your device. This helps keep your eSIM list organized and frees up space for future profiles.

When you need a new connection, you can simply choose a new eSIM from the MobiMatter marketplace and install it in minutes.

⚠️ Important:
Only delete an eSIM after you are completely done using it. Deleting an eSIM permanently removes it, and the same download code usually cannot be reused. In many cases, replacing a deleted eSIM may not be possible.
