If your eSIM is stuck on “Activating…”, this is normal. After installation, the eSIM immediately tries to connect to a mobile network. If Airplane Mode is turned on or you are not yet at your destination, the eSIM cannot reach the supported network and the activation attempt will fail after a few minutes.
You may see an error message saying “Failed to activate”. This simply means the connection attempt ended, and the eSIM installation has completed successfully.
If you want to speed up the process, restart your phone. This will stop the activation attempt right away.
Until you arrive at your destination, you can safely turn the eSIM off. Once you arrive, turn the eSIM on, enable Data Roaming, complete any required setup steps, and it should connect without issues.
Once you arrive at your destination and enable the eSIM, it should connect without issues. If you still experience problems, our 24/7 support team is ready to assist.
