Can I add Multiple eSIMs to My Device?

Managing Multiple eSIMs and Data Packages

Can I store and use more than one eSIM on my device at the same time?

Yes! Think of your phone as a digital wallet for SIM cards. You aren't limited to just one; you can store a library of data plans and switch between them whenever you travel.

1. Storing vs. Activating

There is a major difference between how many eSIMs you can save and how many you can use simultaneously:

  • Storage: Most modern iPhones and Androids can store 5 to 10+ eSIM profiles

  • Active eSIMs: Most newer devices (like iPhone 13+ or Samsung S24+) allow two eSIMs to be active at the same time. On older models, you can typically have one physical SIM and one eSIM active.

2. How to Switch Between Plans

If you are moving from one country to another, you don't need to delete your previous eSIM. Simply:

  1. Go to Settings > Cellular / Mobile Data.

  2. Tap on your new eSIM and toggle "Turn On This Line."

  3. Toggle the previous eSIM to "Off."

  4. Ensure Cellular Data is set to the new active eSIM.

3. Organization is Key

To avoid confusion, we recommend labeling your eSIMs. Instead of generic names like "Secondary," rename them in your settings to the Order Number or the Destination Name.

Note: Once you have completely finished using an eSIM package, we recommend removing it from your device to keep your settings organized and clutter-free.
